Let Him Leave

As usual, the backpages of the papers are littered with the ongoing Ronaldo sage, with the will he or won’t he question still unresolved. Though he has stated his intention to leave, man Utd are still trying to hold onto him, and have threatened to seat him in the stands for the season rather than sell. All good and well, apart from that is illegal. Fifa have said that a player with a professional contract must play 10% of theirs teams matches, or the player can terminate their contract. Now, wouldn’t that be easy? Just let Ronaldo play in the League Cup and FA Cup. 10% of Man Uniteds games is only about (38+8+4+4) 5.4 games on average. Not exactly him being a first player is it.

But, i think United should except a good offer over £50,000,000 for the winger, who has only actually had one great season. He didn’t shine in the Euros, and was bypassed by Arshavin, Villa, Fabregas, Ramos and more, he is a stroppy mare, and the money could bring in a few fantastic youngsters, such as Karim Benzema and Sergio Aguero. Surely two fantastic youngsters are better than a stroppy star who doesn’t want to be here.

And, Man United don’t need tbe money. They earn’t £34,000,000 from the Champions League, as well as the Premiership games, sponsership, memorabillia. They can afford any new youngster who will be loyal to the club who made him, unlike the sleaze Ronaldo. I hope he goes. He is not worthy of the number 7 red jersey. Unless of course, he retracts his claim and stays witht he greatest club in the world, Man United.
