Ok, so i am sure you are all bored with ramblings on my life so how about some Top Recommendations for you, to hopefully satisfy your demands. So, today, we start with top 10 podcasts. In case you don’t know, a Podcast is a downloadable broadcast, to be listened to on the iPod or other MP3/ MP4 player. Many shows are recorded primarily as Podcasts, whereas others are highlights from radio shows. Oh, and by the way, as i am from the UK, many of the shows may be British so pleae bear that in mine.

So, lets get going!

10 : Russell Brand

Russell Brands Saturday night radio show has a large weekly podcast with the highlights from his show. The adult humour and guest stars, as well as his co-host Matt Morgan make for an enjoyable listen, such is the comedians power to humour even the most morbid and unhumourous people.

Another UK podcast, this time centralling around news. This half hour show highlights all the key news from around the world and features interviews, audio clips and more so as to get you involved in the latest goings on.

8 : 606 Football Phone In

If you are a big fan of Football, then the BBC’s 606 Football Phone In is the podcast for you. As a highlight show from the radio show, you get to listen to the debates of today by Danny Baker (among others) and the team, as well as the listeners who call in for their opinion. Also features guest interviews with managers, players and all your favourite pundits.

7 : Dharmalars

If you are a fan of Hit TV show Lost, then the Dharmalars is right up your street. Ralph and the team discuss Lost and general ongoings and have a regular podcast at least once a week. However, the podcast has an explicit tag so expect some language.

Another one for the Lost fans out there. This podcast features Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindeloff, the two most famous writers of the show, as they discuss Lost and answer listener questions. Very funny and offers extra information only found from the writers lips themselves.

Most probably Radio’s most famous face, Chris Moyles has his own Weekly Best of Chris Moyles Show podcast, with clips from his weeks worth of shows. Very funny and many celebrity guests including regulars Sharon Osbourne and Yvette Fielding.

To satisfy your podcasting needs, The Metrobuzz podcast is here, featuring general discussion about news, music and everything else in the media. Colleen and John, the hosts, present a well structured and entertaining show in a weekly format. And, regular guests contribute in some episodes.

The award winning Lost Podcast with Jay And Jack is the most entertaining podcast around, as recognised when they won the Most Entertaining Award 2007. With discussion of Lost, guests stars including Jorge Garcia (Hurley from the show) and fabulous backroom editing, The Jay And Jack Lost Podcast is one for all the family. Out twice a week, except when Lost is not on, in which case The Jay And Jack Show replaces it.
